A new edition of the Billboard Music Awards has taken place. The awards ceremony had two instances, the first was the announcement of the winners of 54 categories via a live on TikTok hosted by Tetris Kelly and Tiffany Taylor.

- Doja Cat adds two awards so far, including Best R&B Artist and Best R&B Female Artist, for the second consecutive year.
- bad bunny He has already won two awards: Top Latin Artist and Top Latin Male Artist, setting the record for the most awards in history in the Top Latin categories, with three.
- The Latin categories have been supplemented by Carol G. which won the award for best Latin album, Armed Link in Top Latin Duo or Group and the bukis by Top Latin Tour.
- sonic silk received his first BBMAs for Top R&B Song. The duo are also finalists for Best R&B Album and Best R&B Artist.
